YuGiOh! Duel Day

Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Day (Duel Day) events are designed to provide new Duelists with a place to learn how to play the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME (TCG). Duel Day will be held throughout the year at Official Tournament Stores (OTS) all over North America.

Anyone of any age that is new to the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME may participate in Duel Day events.

Players are paired off based on each player’s Win/Loss record. Players are not eliminated when they lose a match during Swiss tournaments – instead, they will continue to be paired against players with similar records for all remaining rounds of the event.

Duelists finish the event when the Duelists have all finished playing Round 4 (less if there are less than 8 Duelists enrolled in the tournament).

Duelists are prized based on the final standings after the final round of Swiss is played, with no Playoff top cut rounds.

The 1st Place Duelist is awarded their choice of two (2) of the available Duelist League cards as a prize.

All other Duelists each receive one (1) Duelist League Rare cared of their choice from the available Duelist League Cards. The order in which a Duelist is able to select their card is based on their final ranking in the tournament.

All materials and cards that you will need to participate in Duel Day will be provided to you on site. If you have a COSSY ID number, you should bring your number and barcode. You’ll also need the entry fee for the Duelist League (if the OTS is charging an entry fee), as well as money for any incidentals (food, drink, etc.).
