Volunteer Oshawa

As the largest non-governmental provider of social services in Canada, The Salvation Army supports society’s most vulnerable people. You can help! Volunteering offers you an opportunity to give back and serve others by assisting at Community and Family Services or at the church.  Our Food Bank/Thrift Store/Christmas volunteer coordinator can be reached at 905-723-7422 ext 221. For other volunteer choices contact the church office at 905-436-0011. Thanks so very much for considering being a volunteer and helping so many in need. Visit us online at https://saoshawa.ca

The goal of the Nourish and Develop Foundation is connecting people to nourishing food and supportive resources. We have two main aspects - Food Services and Social Services - under which we have programs like Nourish House Food Bank, the Mobile Food Market, Community Kitchen, Food Literacy Workshops and Camps, Life Skills Workshops, System Navigation Support, and our Social Services Hub. We have a variety of volunteer positions available, in many of these programs. We encourage you to visit our website - www.tndf.ca - for more information on what we do!
